Key Stage 2

Our Key Stage 2 educational workshops include the following:

Numeracy

This is an exciting, engaging workshop that brings maths to life.  Using a variety of our interactive equipment, pupils try out various sporting activities and record their results on a worksheet. In the final quarter of the session they then use the figures they have obtained in a series of maths questions. The maths can be levelled to the desired ability range of the class and varied throughout the day. 

Science

Pupils test themselves over a series of activities and challenges which highlight the muscles in the body together with the function of the heart and lungs.

MACC (Me and Climate Change)

An exciting interactive mixture of theory and hands on experiments looking at climate change, energy, sustainability and the three R’s (Reducing, Reusing and Recycling).  This is a flexible programme that can be delivered to a class or larger size groups and fitted into the schools’ timetabled day.

Personal Health & Social Education (PHSE)

Our ‘Body Matters’ workshop highlights the effects of alcohol, dugs and smoking with a series of questions and hands-on-activities.

Key Skills

Interactive workshops covering topics such as teamwork, communication skills, creative thinking and problem solving.  We use highly engaging, thought provoking activities that fully engage pupils by involving them in tasks that require a positive approach.
