Our Key Stage 4 educational programmes and workshops include the following:

Enterprise Education

We offer a range of one day interactive Enterprise Programmes which use a variety of practical challenges and cover topics including finance, sales & marketing, business planning, target setting, teamwork and creative thinking.  These are available with the following themes:

• Sport
• Horticulture and
• Physics (supported by the Institute of Physics).

The Biology of Sport

An interactive session that covers muscles, senses, joints and breathing, without the textbook. The workshop uses our highly engaging interactive equipment and provides for a fun environment whilst the students test themselves on the various challenges.

The Chemistry of Sport

A practical way of looking at ATP, reactions, energy pathways, aerobic and anaerobic systems.  Again we create an inspirational learning environment using a variety of our interactive equipment and combination of written and practical activities.

Sci Sport

Supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry, this highly entertaining well established lecture looks at the chemistry behind the modern materials used in sport.  It comes complete with a follow-on worksheet for students.

Key Skills

Interactive workshops covering topics such as teamwork, communication skills, creative thinking and problem solving.  We use highly engaging, thought provoking activities that fully engage pupils by involving them in tasks that require a positive approach.
