Climate Cops scores a hat-trick of awards!

Following the win at the IVCA Clarion Awards in October last year, npower's Climate Cops programme has triumphed again scooping prizes at the Green Society Green Apple Awards and the prestigious Utility Industry Achievement Awards.

The programme which helps schools across the UK to become greener and more sustainable won the Environmental Award at the Utility Industry Achievement Awards held on 8th December.  The award was presented by comedian Rory Bremner at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with the winning entry beating off stiff competition from two other environmental projects from Southern Water and South West Water.

Climate Cops which is part of npower's Brighter Futures Programme, is a five year scheme designed to make UK schools more sustainable and follows the Government's National Framework for Sustainable Schools.

The programme also recently won the Green Apple Award, which promotes environmental best practice.

Climate Cops academy days are delivered nationally by By Design on behalf of npower.
